Dear Friends and Family,

I have really appreciated the fall colors this year and have enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. The weather has been beautiful and we have been incredibly blessed! I also appreciate each one of you, for your support and prayers, they mean a lot to me!

I share with you that God is my source of life and strength. He is in control. I may not understand everything that happens but I will not fear for I know that He has His best in mind for me. His purposes and plans for me will not be thwarted. Job 42:2 says, "I know that you can do all things, no plan of yours can be thwarted" for He has knit me in my mother\'s womb and knew me before I was even born Jeremiah 1:5. I cannot presume God\'s plans for this journey I am on. However, I can have faith that He will lead and show me His ways as I keep my eyes on Him, the protector and finisher of life! This is such hope!

Some difficult and transitional times in the last few years have effected my activity in ministry but I am now ready to take on a new season and I am trusting God to do great things!

Breaking News
We received exciting news from Paradise Church in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They have invited us to do ministry at their church in January and February 2009. We are very excited about this opportunity.

While in Puerto Vallarta, my husband Jake and I will also be involved with Humanitarian Aid and helping His Will, His Way Ministries at the Casa Hogar Orphanage during the week.

Music Ministry/Missions & Encouragement
In September I participated in a fundraiser concert together along with "Keeper's Of The Faith", from Tacoma, WA., at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Aldergrove, B.C. Fundraising was for a team of 46 people who went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in October. We had a great time and everybody enjoyed the concert. $3,000 dollars was raised. I am looking forward to hearing how things went.

There are also other opportunities for ministry coming up as well. I recently organized a women’s singing group at my home church and we will be singing at Christmas, and also for worship services and special events.

I have also been able to encourage a number of women in their spiritual journey. Life can bring on many different struggles and disappointments whether it’s dealing with family situations, health, marriage, fear or just personal struggles and hurts. I feel blessed to have been able to come along side some of them with a listening ear, and to support by praying for them and pointing them to our comforter Jesus Christ who can give them hope. God loves each one of them for whom they are and sees them as having worth. He has a purpose for each of their lives. My passion and hope is to be used by God to minister to women through the gifts that He has given to me.

Family News
My husband Jake and I enjoy our 2 grandson’s Tyler and Jason so much; sometimes it seems we can’t get enough of them. It’s so special to be able to live close to them and be part of their lives. They are precious little souls and it’s such a pleasure to see how unique they are and how God is shaping their lives as they grow from year to year. Tyler is 3 years old and Jason just turned 1 year old. Also recently Jake and I got exciting news that we will be grandparents again in February 2009! We are so looking forward to another grandchild.

I've written a song for each of my grandsons to tell them how much God loves them, how special they are and that God has a purpose and plan for them. Jake and I long for them to have a relationship with Christ and will serve Him.

In September Jake and I also had the privilege to go see our families in Manitoba. We saw his mom in the hospital after her knee surgery and also celebrated my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. They have given a legacy in a world that seems to say, “I quit” too easily. What a great time, as family gathered to show their appreciation! To celebrate we took a Winnipeg cruise down the Red River with the Paddle Wheel Queen and saw the trees in an array of colors.

Scheduling

Currently I am scheduling local and regional ministry venues in B.C. However, I would like to hear from anyone who may be interested in booking special music or a concert. If you are planning a special Christmas banquet, service or event in your church I would be interested and look forward to your call.

Front Porch Records have agreed to be my non-exclusive “booking agent”. They will be scheduling dates for me. I am very grateful for this help since I want to be more active in doing what I am a passionate about. They have featured me on their Artist Showcase for the month of October and November. I am beginning to schedule concerts for 2009, starting in March. I will be scheduling venues in B.C., Alberta and other parts of the country as the Lord opens up opportunities.
