September was the start of working toward a new recording project. In October I was writing songs with Eric Copeland of Creative Soul in Nashville who is also producing the CD. In the last couple of months we’ve been tracking the songs and I’ve been vocally preparing to go into the studio. A number of very talented musicians are playing on the project and I really like what I hear! In two weeks I will be flying to Nashvile to record the vocals, I’m pretty excited and will keep you in the loop! You’ll definitely want to keep posted! Just “Like” my Facebook Band Page and you’ll be sure to be added to all the news about the new release in the coming months! Thanks and hope things are going well for you! If not my friend let me know about it!

Preparations for New Recording
Sunday, February 5th, 2012Merry Christmas!!
Wednesday, December 21st, 2011I had the privilege to sing and share at two Christmas banquets this year, what a wonderful time it was! To speak into the hearts of single women who are struggling at this time of year and to encourage them with the hope that we can have through Jesus. Also what a blessing it was to sing at the Erskine Evangelical Free Churches banquet, even though I was not feeling well the people were touched in a special way. They responded by saying that they “saw” Jesus as I was singing, that nothing had been missed in the presence of a right spirit and the beautiful Christmas powerpoint. As a result I was so blessed and encouraged by that evening as well!
May your Christmas be filled with God’s presence and love as you celebrate all the amazing gifts that He has given to us. He is the most valuable gift you could ever receive. He is the love we search for, the understanding we all desperately need, and the forgiveness we are lost without.
Wishing you a blessed and Merry Christmas!!
Exciting Travels!
Friday, November 11th, 2011This last month I flew to Alberta to do a concert that blessed and encouraged the people of Erskine E. Free. I look forward to going back for Christmas! A few hours after arriving home I drove to Seattle WA. to then fly to Nashville, TN. to do some songwriting and a photo shoot. It was a great week and very productive! It was great to get back home but only to be there for a short stint and then went to Summerland to have a great weekend with my son, daughter-in-law and grandsons. I am so looking forward to being closer to home, getting organized and preparing for what’s ahead! God is good!! What exciting things is he doing in your life?
Where is he taking you on your journey?
On The Road

The concerts went well ….many let me know that they were thoroughly blessed and encouraged! Now it`s off to Erskine, Alberta….will do a concert Sunday morning at the Evangelical Free Church!
Back from Missions in P.V., Ministering in B.C.
Sunday, May 22nd, 2011For those who are keeping up with my blogs….Sorry it’s taken me so long to write. We got back from our mission work in Puerto Vallarta at the end of March. There were many mixed emotions as we left. It’s hard when you pour part of your life into others lives and then leave after 2 1/2 months. Yes, it may have been the most challenging experience of the 7 years we have been involved there with missions, but it was also very rewarding and a blessing to be doing the Lord’s work, and to know that we have impacted many people’s lives….kids and adults.
In April I was invited to speak and sing at a “Love In Any Language” Women’s Spring Tea at Sunshine Ridge Baptist Church. It was a wonderful and touching event for the women. Shortly after that Jake and I went to San Diego for a much needed rest.
At this point, we both are looking to God for what He has planned for us in this next season. Getting back I have had a lot of organizing to do, dealing with some health issues that have come up, working on my fall ministry schedule and hoping that God will open up new opportunities to serve!
Keep us and Break-Thru Productions in your prayers and I’ll keep you posted!
Primavera
Saturday, March 26th, 2011Stonecroft ministries put on their first outreach brunch this last Wednesday morning for the Women in Puerto Vallarta and they called it “Primavera” which means new beginnings or season of spring. What a wonderful event it was to start off the spring season here in Paradise! A couple of ladies from Paradise Community Center and I got together to do the song “Primavera”(mainstream), “All I’ve Been Wating For” (off my Beyond Reason Album) and “One Thing Remain’s” ( a worship chorus). They also had an award winning hairstylist showing his cuts and we had a wonderful brunch and speaker. I hope more events like this can happen here in P.V. and pray that the Lord touched women’s hearts!
Lots of Excitement!
Saturday, February 19th, 2011This week we have had a lot of excitement with our son, daugher-in-law and all three grandson’s joining us in Puerto Vallarta! It’s great to have them here and they also think it’s great to see what Jake and I are involved with. We had the opportunity to take all of them to the Casa Hogar Orphanage, where we teach English on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Thursday’s we sometimes go have fun on play day and they were able to experience that with us. His Will His Way Ministry organizes the process and we help them. We also went to the dump to see the ministry of New Beginnings. They are building a new Chapel building which is very exciting. Jake has helped build some homes in that area in previous years and hopes to help again this year. You can’t leave either the Orphanage or Dump and not be impacted. I also saw a heart wrenching scene the other day when I saw a very poor man bent down on some cardboard he had collected and was crying loudly in front of where we are staying. He looked like he was disabled or had a mental problem. My heart went out to him. I felt so helpless and tears filled my eyes to see how this man was struggling. Friday was a special day as we enjoyed celebrating our youngest grandson’s birthday! We celebrated Mexican style at the beach with a pinada…the kids had a lot of fun and we had a lot of laughs! Today I went to teach English and lead the kids in some singing at the Agape Home. There were about 30 kids and 30 Adults it was a great day! We do try to make it fun and also teach the gospel. It’s interesting…..not only are the Mexican kids learning English but I in-turn am also learning Spanish! One of the challenges this week is that we are not getting hot water in the building we are renting but we are fortunate that we have a shower head that heats the water while taking a shower. The other challenge is that the elevator is not working either so that makes it difficult to do the laundry since the laundry room is on the 5th floor and we are on the PB1 floor. However the blessing is that we are getting much better Internet access to do the work we need to do from here. We appreciate your prayers and will keep you posted!
Puerto Vallarta Missions
Saturday, February 5th, 2011Arrived safely in Puerto Vallarta on January 15th. Jake and I have already been here for three weeks! It’s hard to believe that amount of time has past already. The last couple of weeks have been interesting and frustrating as we have been dealing with a number of different technical problems..like electricity, hot water, shower, internet service, leaks etc. This is the first time we have rented and are finding out how patient we need to be. As has been our experience before, it takes longer here to deal with some of these issues. A number of the things have been worked out this week and it looks like we only need the internet to be hooked up properly for the time that we will be here. More importantly we have been back to the Casa Hogar Orphanage. Last week we visited the kids and they were happy to see us as we were to see them! We shared hugs and then we had a good time playing with them. This last week we taught English and have committed to going back every week. Saturdays we have also helped His Will His Way Ministries with the neighborhood outreach that takes place at the AGAPE home (for abused women). We have a great time teaching English, the scriptures and I help lead the singing and play guitar.. This Thursday was my first practice with the worship team and we will be leading the worship on Sundays at Paradise Community Center. Last Sunday I was asked to sing a few songs during the Anniversary Celebration Potluck after church. It was great to see old friends and to meet many more new people. On Wednesday I attended the Women’s Bible Study and as we got into a small prayer group I was able to pray and encourage these women. It’s wonderful to see a few Mexican women and families who are coming to the church as well.
We have also had the opportunity to take time out of our busy schedule to spend time with friends who have flown into Puerto Vallarta. It is always great to have fun times and be encouraged.
Stay tuned for other snippets of our mission here in P.V.!
“Christmas in Paris”
Monday, December 27th, 2010December 3rd “Christmas in Paris” was my last ministry venue of the year. The women of Newton Fellowship and I had a great time. I sang, spoke and led them in a Christmas sing-a-long. The place was decorated like Paris it was a wonderful evening. The Christmas season is such a special time of year!
Break-Thru Concert & Dessert Fundraiser
Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010The concert and dessert fundraiser at Pacific Community Church, in Surrey, B.C. on Saturday, Nov. 20th went exceptionally well. The band, sound, lighting and powerpoint techs all did an amazing job! It was so much fun and everyone that attended enjoyed it! The only disappointing thing about it was that the attendance was low which was unfortunate. Hopefully the next time we’ll see more people out! We appreciate those who came out and supported the vision of this ministry and mission and donated to this important cause.
